In Berg's lawsuit he actually uses information from wikipedia to dispute Barack's birthplace.
Upon investigation into the birth of Barack Hussein Obama in Honolulu, Hawaii, Obama's birth is reported as occurring at two (2) separate hospitals, Kapiolani Hospital and Queens Hospital. Wikipedia English Version under the subject "Barack Obama
Wikipedia information is in a lawsuit?!?!?! My 3rd grader isn't even allowed to use wikipedia as a source and he hasn't been through law school. So now we have an attorney using information from wikipedia as fact or using it to dispute fact and I should take his lawsuit seriously?

Danielle Masters wrote:So Stephen now you believe Obama is not an American citizen and is therefore not eligible to be President? And if his birth certificate is not real and the McCain camp is concerned why haven't they asked to see it? Really I truly believe this topic belongs in Area 51.
I cannot answer for McCain or his campaign.

Ok then what about wikipedia, can you really say that a lawsuit that uses wikipedia as a source is a credible lawsuit? We aren't talking about novices here Stephen. When I read the actual lawsuit and read the word "wikipedia" I burst out laughing. Seriously I did.

Ok I am done, time to go enjoy the great outdoors. Thanks for giving me something to laugh about for the rest of the day.

You can attack Berg for using Wiki but you have not refuted the the facts presented by him. Are you saying that the facts presented by Berg are incorrect or are you just attacking Wiki?

Stephen I have never been a fan of Hillary. That goes back a long time, way from the Ark. years.

Drop this crap, it's just deflcting attention away from the things that are in the economy.

If Obama was not a citizen it would of come out when he was a rep in Illinois. This whole thing in ridiculous. Quit amusing yourself by being silly and contentious, go volunteer for a campaign.

Finally, there's some context for the initial post.

My god man you sound like a broken record. Look we both know that the blame for this mess falls on so many peoples heads I think it is hard to blame democrats solely. But that is neither here no there. NOTE: The blame for the looming killer recession also falls on both side of the isle. Courtesy of the bi-partisan bailout. (Sorry tangent)

Anyway the fact that people are even debating Oboma's birth certificate is not only lame but it goes to the fact that people have little else to throw at him. I am sure he has some pretty smart lawyers. If indeed he does not have a good birth certificate, i'm sure that he would have used his government ties to forge himself one by now. NOTE: I distrust all politicians. Just repubs more.

McCain was born in Panama before social security cards were issued. How do we know he wasn't just some kids the McCain family picked up in Panama?

That's not true Ryan. I'm pretty sure his social security number is 8. ;-) [credit to whoever I stole that joke from]

No, McCain doesn't want to walk down the path of who is or is not a Citizen of this country. McCain appears to have his own issues with this. It appears that there is a legitimate question of McCain's citizenship. While he is no doubt a Citizen of these United States, the Constitution calls for a Natural Born citizen...of which McCain is not one as he was born in the Panama Canal Zone apparently...which is outside the bounds of "natural born" technically). No one has made legal hay out of this yet (at least not in the mainstream media view) and it is likely not worth pursuing but, as Palin would say, I betcha Obama's people wouldn't mind rekindling this if McCain's people ever pressed on his own birth certificate.

Even Snopes isn't clear on this...sounds like it could be an issue. Which would be scary if done AFTER the fact...where we get a de facto President Palin if McCain wins the Presidency. Ugh.

That would be someone who made the joke about George Burns, joking that his SS number was "1." :D I can't remember who it was, though. Rickles?

There is an unresolved question about the constitutional provision, but it would take a pretty mean-spirited court to rule that the child of American military personnel or missionaries (Romney, if I recall correctly) born overseas is not a natural born American citizen (does that also exclude people born by C sections?). The provision would obviously bar the governor of California from serving.

I can understand why the provision was included when the country was just being formed, but when a country that has benefited so much from immigrants, and which still nominally welcomes them, retains such a provisio n, it seems counter to what I think of as American values and should probably be removed. Just think, Ivor cannot, under current law, become president, even though he is as American as any of us.

Its interesting that a poster can assert that the attorney cited is a whack job who has been fined for filing frivolous lawsuits, but provides absolutely no reference to anything corroborating her "facts", yet no one asks for that corroboration. Could it be that everyone assumes that there is no such corroboration?

Or could it be that they have read the "facts" which you don't know how to find.

Why should I google it for you? Just go up to that white bar at the top of the window. That is the search bar. Type in legal history of litigation and suits filed by Berg. Success rate of Berg, Win rate of Berg. Brain scan of Berg.

Some of us have actually followed this jokers antics for a long time Will, why haven't you? Why don't you know these things?

Go forth young man.

I don't have a white bar at the top of the window. I didn't think there was anyone in the world so ignorant as to think we all use the same software configured in the same way, but apparently I was mistaken.

You were the one who asserted facts without corroboration, and I feel no obligation to disprove something that you have not proven. I think I'll go with my initial impression that you know he is a whack job because you sat with him at some whack jobs anonymous meetings.
