Yes I did read it before posting it...my point being that it DID indeed happen, my point being that if one is going to call a candidate a thug... well there is plenty of it to go around on both sides. The hate mongering coming from the extremes of each party is both sad and laughable.

The checks and balances did kick in and guess what both parties were, in a roundabout way, responsible for that. That being that each presidential term presents an opportunity to seat a new judge on the Supreme Court. But that really is not how the checks and balances work. They work because of our constitution.
