blatant double standard

If an old white dude with a cowboy hat way past his prime says something racist or vulgar, then the reaction is different than if someone else said it. This is nothing new.

Having said that, I have found Imus to be boring the few occasions I have listened to him over the years.

As for the Rutgers player(s) who stated how they will be scarred for life and never be the same after hearing Imus make a couple remarks, they apparently have much bigger problems than the current issue at hand. Then again, maybe they were just repeating what they were coached to say.

I frequently hear older black teenage girls talk to each other much worse than Imus spoke of them, however I realize two wrongs do not make a right. Just hang out in front of Tower City some morning while a lot of students are waiting to change buses if you don't know what I am talking about.

I've had the misfortune to be on rta buses with cleveland students. 'Urban' culture has become a parody of a parody of a parody...

Imus referred to the basketball players as 'Hos'. Is that even a racist slur? It seems more like a gender slur.
