The safety of my children is my number one priority. I am on the email alert for the sexual predators through the county website. I take this topic very seriously due to the fact that I do have 4 young girls. I check the site often to be aware of the faces of these...lets say...disturbed people.
In the last couple of weeks I have received emails on two sexual offenders in our neighborhood. An older man across the street and a younger kid "early twenties" right next door. I don't see him very often.
This disturbs me.
Do I move? Not hardly. I like the neighborhood. I like "MOST" of the neighbors. The kids like it here. It's a great community!
What do you think? Should I hang a banner outside the house from the railing stating...
Beware of SEX OFFENDERS in our neighborhood!!!
Make them aware that I know who they are.
Or should I build a ten foot privacy fence up around our entire lot?!!
