This is the highest positivity rate since I've been analyzing the data. (It was 13.95% in April.)

Alarming!

Anything above 10% is considered in the range of uncontrolled community spread.

Yet, with Ohio and USA on fire with this, people are saying, ignore the science, we need to go back to normal.

Not to be a dick about this, but generally I find those screaming that to not be reliable sources life needed instructions.

When you separate the need for kids to have input Kindergarten-7th grade, I get it. The studies speak for themselves.

Those with special need children, I get. The studies speak for themselves.

Everyone else, you just got to get a hold of yourself.

In March when everybody was getting ready to sing off their porches. I mentioned, this shit hasn't even started to get bad.

Well guess what, we still have a couple really bad months ahead of us.

Wear a mask. Limit travel and exposure. Set up family party and gatherings for after the holidays. When it settles down. Together we have lost a year, let's not make it two, three, four our five. One group that has been spot on since day one is forecasting Americans, will be unable to self quarantine, and this continues even with a vaccine until 2025. Let's prove them wrong.

Hang on it is about to get interesting.

52,158 positive (12.79% positive)

Percent positive is down more than 5% from my last post 7 days ago.
This is an improvement, but still not good.

Please Double Check Your Sources

Please consult the website for the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, where you may discover a lag in the reporting of case data to ODH relating to a shift in reporting standards.

To the best of my understanding this may have imposed a week lag.

Yes the State has decided to slow the reporting numbers by setting some to the side for a second look. DeWine stated this has not changed the numbers as most check out, but the added security was deemed necessary and slows overall reporting. This smells of an official desperate to make things better than they are at the very time we need to get serious, again.

Mike DeWine, the great suggester, and avoider of doing the right thing.

Here's what another Lakewood resident has to say about all this.

Please stay safe this holiday season.

Hahahaha The Great Suggester.
I'd venture that DeWine has nothing on AZ Governor Doug Ducey when it comes to being a "suggester-avoider."

CCBH reporting delay is the focus of the front page story in today's Plain Dealer.

I wanted to get this update done today because (according to a report* this afternoon on Channel 19) the state is planning on dumping over 12,000
positive antigen test results into the system tomorrow. (I guess they don't have the manpower to review them in a timely manner.)
HENCE, DON'T BE ALARMED BY THE OUTRAGEOUS NUMBER OF NEW POSITIVES IN TOMORROW'S MEDIA.

If you walked down Grace Ave. today, heading towards Detroit and looked upon Drug Mart, you would have been confronted with the following spray painted tag...

MSM=VIRUS. Circle drawn around the word COPS with a line through it. COVID LIES. MSM=VIRUS.

In that order. It took up half of that wall.

More on the Detroit side, including - 1776.

Clearly someone who thinks the numbers are a game.
