But really. if there's going to be a "Wood Walkers" gang, is there a graphic artist anyone knows that could design a logo...you know for tee shirts and tatoos?

I'd write a similar story about visiting Grandma Lucy in the Projects, but don't want to be responsible for anyone going for a walk there.

You bring up an interesting thing. Everyone mentioned Ken's Observer shirt, Old Style, and all commented and just started talking. Home owners, renters, shoppers, homeless, it was very wierd, but the level of comfort and good vibes was staggering.

It makes we think, Ken mentioned this has to be small group by small group, build. Some residents are not as concerned as others. Another interesting part of the story is that these neighbors were better equiped than others as they had joined forces in the good days, and had a plan and worked it.

We have the shirts and logo ready.

Then again, the dispossessed may just be pushed slightly eastward in a growing wave of prosperity and rebirth! Who needs Cold Fusion rendered Hydrogen for Hydrogen Powered Automobiles when You live in a place built before most people owned Cars!

Now that you mention it, Sante Fe is terrible, couldn;t get out of there fast enough. Even past on seeing the home that was rebuilt by This Old House! Went to Taos and had more of the same, just stayed long enough to help bury Kit Carson. It was only proper, his family didn't have enough pallbearers.

It is right next door to your office. We used to have some great lunch work outs with a whole bunch from the neighborhood. Baseball, football, racing, even fishing that I got for a client. He sits and virtually fishes while I do his work, it is hilarious.

But the answer is no, but you can use it.

It looks like fri and sat will be nice weather, no rain in the forecast, so it might be a good time for Wood Walking, and Wood Driving.

It's my understanding that the new initiates wear a simple black cape. As the experience factor increases, so do the ornaments and trappings on the cape, so that some walkers have multicolored and or striped capes, and others have very ornate trims with tassles and embroidery.....

One walker's cape now encompasses a hooded cowl, ala Batman

Oh, brother....does the LO have a bail bondsman on staff? Jeff, you better keep your cell handy...I suspect you may be needed or could it be that the hooded cape is yours? Judge Carroll is going to get quite a kick out of this. Stan make sure Rhonda is on call, we're going to want pictures!

You guys definitely don't read enough comics. The new guys never get to wear black. Batman had Robin wear all the colorful yellow stuff so he would draw attention away from him! The new guys wear Orange Jumpers and those multi-colored rainbow wigs. Make a statement!

And Jim, thanks for the offer of some PS2 time!
