I suppose, while you call the Stonewall Democrats the right wing of the LGBTQ community, you're also condemning Laura for having a fundraiser hosted by a known homophobic, transphobic Trump supporter? Each and every one of you with your 'take' and your Amens are full of it. You have the nerve to go on about fairness and diversity while the candidate you speak in behalf of is courting Trumpsters to back her campaign? Wow. Just wow.

Bridget, I'm not a representative, just a member speaking his mind on the topic.

Yes, Marx and Erik Meinhardt of the Lakewood Dem Club, as well.

He’s the one who forced Matt Kuhns to remove his honest and factual Facebook post contesting Sam O’Leary’s false claim that he was endorsed by the Club.

No wonder the Stonewall group endorsed the establishment candidates!!

Gee Bridget and Amy, you're so busy throwing around insults at the Stonewall Democrats that you can't be bothered to explain why the candidate that you claim is all about diversity is hosting an event with a homophobic, racist, Trump supporter. Hypocrisy at its finest. Oh, and I'll net neither one of you have ever bothered to join the club or even show up to a meeting - but instead just want to have issues with those who actually can be bothered to.

Check yourself Bridget. You don't even know me. I am the furthest things from closed minded or hate filled. Believe what you want, but maybe you should look in the mirror considering your lack of willingness to appreciate how a political process works and how your candidate failed at it.

Given the lack of any GOP candidates, I'm quite sure that every candidate in every Lakewood race will be supported by some Trump supporters.

It's one thing to accept support from a member of the GOP who might support Trump, it's another thing to accept support from someone who is openly racist, transphobic, homophobic, and more. Not a word about how Laura Rodriguez Carbone - the supposed candidate of diversity and inclusion - is taking money and support, visibly, from someone who actively makes anti-Muslim statements, and frequently posts hateful things about LGBTQ people. I'm not a regular poster here and I have a very different outlook than a lot of the people on here.i was planning on supporting laura but this is the first I've heard of her fundraising with a transphobe. May I ask who? I guess I'm still an undecided voter at this point.

I honestly do not know : who is the person who hosted the fundraiser for Laura Rodriguez-Carbone?

My money would be on that piece of garbage Tony George but that's literally just a guess
