John

I asked, was a mistake when it came down. I believe there is one in the shop and another upstairs in the back of the parts area, if I remember correctly. Maybe he will sell those.

Bobby-O’s was supposedly told their lease will not be renewed because that block will be redeveloped as condos.

Can anyone confirm this? That makes you wonder if it will be incorporated with the Barry Buick property.

It’s interesting because more housing about a block from the Belle-agio housing would create competition.

Calling Peter Grosetti...

More than enough room for your old landlord's Boutique Hotel with a pants store in the front!

Dreams could still come true.

When I moved to Lakewood 40 years ago, Lakewood Datsun was located where the Rite-Aid drugstore is now. After they moved to North Olmsted, I believe Ganley sold Yugos there. Just wondering what proceeded Datsun at that location? And, after talking to Stan Austin on Sunday, I was reminded that the Firestone dealer at Bunts and Madison was originally an Auburn dealer back in the 20's and 30's.

LaRich Lincoln Mercury was prior to Datsun I think before that I had heard it was Rambler? Off of the top of my head I remember 13 new car dealers in Lakewood in the 70's. Many of the dealerships carried multiple brands.

Thanks, Bill. And thanks to Dave Buehler for his Templar revival! I wonder if there was a Templar dealer in Lakewood?

Also Marc Lance Ford, Swedish Cars of Cleveland, and Renault.

And, in the block where Barry Buick's body shop is, there was an Amphicar dealer. Also, does anybody remember Jack Ensley?
