It is not what I would consider to be an intelligent business plan, one month of reserve operating capital and an experiment of provide free live entertainment. I'll be the prices for the drinks were competitive to the area and did not include the cost of the entertainment. That was not a business plan that was a hail Mary pass in the last 10 seconds of the game.

Mine two, Taco Tuesday, was the best deal in the world. Tacos for $0.15! Who cared what they were made out of, the sauce was incredible.

Capt Ray Brown became a pretty good friend, and I still hit the one on Brookpark when in the neighborhood and desperately hungry.

Until I see the business plan, I will hold off on how bad it was.

I know a couple people that opened on shoestrings and did very well, others did not, and some well most got screwed if they did well by the landlord.

I totally understand that we want business plans to succeed in Lakewood but how on Earth did anyone think a business plan for a dueling pianos in Lakewood that only had dueling pianos for three nights a week would succeed? I don't think we need to see the business plan to know that this wasn't a great idea from the start. And, to open in the middle of winter should have been a red flag from the start.

Dueling pianos need tourists and/or business travelers to succeed. This town has neither and the concept, IMHO, was doomed to fail from the start.
