Maleness wasn't cited here as a trait of potential predators. Neither was straightness. But I did study homomorphic transformation at Northwestern, does that vindicate me somehow?

Makes me wonder, if I called someone homomorphic, would they wanna hit me?

I am hopeful that Summers is not indicative of all NU alums.
Most of whom are smart, hard working, honest people.
However, I have spotted a trend lately......Governor Blago, Rahm Emanuel and now Summers.

Perhaps NU has secretly launched a "Masters in Political Corruption" degree.

Blago is a traditional Dem in the Dimora tradition...he simply takes bribes. That's why he got caught...no creativity.

Rahm is a much more dangerous animal....he delivered the neoliberal Trojan horse into the mainstream of the party....he embodies the "Republican Lite" trend that has destroyed the Democratic brand.

Summers is the ultimate culmination of corruption....he's a Republican that simply said "F--k it....I'll just straight up buy the Dems! Butt kissers like Bullock, O'Leary and Anderson will do whatever I tell them" Spineless leadership at the Lakewood "Democratic" Club enabled this farce to occur. Naturally, higher ranked officials like Sherrod and Kaptur are happy to take Summers checks.....actual ideology is meaningless, it's all about the cash!

And to the Dems' benefit, there's way more Dem-lite Republicans (like all but a handful) than there are Rep-lite Democrats. But these days it's hard to tell them all apart, save for a few. Eff ideology....

I don't think so. Not by a long shot.
Despite its massive flaws, the Democrats at least have one foot (or at least one toe) in reality.

The GOP has degenerated into a collection of ranting lunatics that toss their figurative feces at anything resembling science, reason, thought, or tolerance.
I'm still waiting for the "reasonable republicans" to stand up to Trump. Other than Kasich and Ah-Nold, I don't see them.
Ryan and McConnell are every bit the bootlick as our local phonies like O'Leary, Marx, and Anderson.

That's what makes the Dem Establishment so pathetic....even matched against the likes the Trump, they still find a way to be LESS popular.
How do they do it? By nominating weak, spineless candidates that have no core beliefs.

The higher ranking politicians just support incumbents. Whatever the incumbent does is right. There is no thought, just support the incumbent.
