You are a public official and were at a political meeting. Why would you be offended at someone videotaping that meeting?

"Mr. Anderson"

Will you specifically comment on the purge of a DNC delegate by the Lakewood Democratic Club.

Councilman, the questions I posed are right there in plain view, in plain English. They are not complicated.

If you prefer not answering them, that's entirely your right.

If you prefer to change the subject to an invented "challenge" which I did not issue, that's also your right, if disappointing.

I must conclude that you are not interested in a sincere conversation, though, and simply unwilling to come out and say so directly. So be it. I can take a hint.

Anderson, it has been nice having you on the Deck. I'm guessing it is a matter of time before they badger you off of here. No one would hold it against (well, other than maybe 8 people). Funny, they cry and cry to get public officials in here and when one does come on they try to beat the pulp out of them. I hope you stay but if you go, rest adsured they will do it to the next public official too, just like they have done to every other person before you on here.

Mr Anderson is not being badgered. He has been asked to state his opinion and explain his actions on behalf of his constituents.

Mr Anderson willingly ran for office. His duty is to his constituents, and that means he is obligated to respond to questions about governmental actions, whether he, or anyone else, likes it or not. He works FOR us.

These people who thrust themselves into the political arena, then cry "you're being mean to me," are cowards of the highest sort.

Mr. Anderson still refuses to state his position on the purging of a DNC Delegate from the Lakewood Democratic Club.
