I miss the days when you had better teasers than that. "Big news later this summer..." or "Guess what I know that you don't know..." or "Just wait, you'll see..." No, come to think of it, I don't miss those days. You're ordinary. Don't be ordinary.
All righty, then. Mr. Rossen lays low until he sees an opportunity to directly attack The Lakewood Observer. Do you get paid in piece work?
Are you offering to pay me? I accept, but I don't work cheap.
I cannot match the real pay that you must receive (or expect) from your Team Bleed, nor can I match the psychic pay you must receive via the self-satisfaction you receive from your own postings. Beyond that, it'd be cheaper to post words of related gibberish on the wall and throw darts.

But why mess with me - Attack The Deck!
I responded, not attacked, a post from Jim O'Bryan. I did not realize that your group is now being told to refer to Jim as the Lakewood Observer. Or is it the Lakewood Observer is Jim? I can't keep up with your group's message.

Mr. Rossen, you just confirmed the gist of my post. I would offer thanks but I get no satisfaction from your response or behavior.

It is my hope that Lakewood voters will carefully consider the consequences associated with this expensive and pointless referendum
What are those consequences Ms Beebe? That perhaps we'd be able to stop being held hostage by the Cleveland Clinic?
Pointless referendum? That is outrageous and completely unethical.
Due to the decisions of Ms. Beebe and the BOE, we are $6 million dollars over budget with our schools. In addition, devastating cuts were made to our nationally renowned music program, all while approving raises for the administration!
If there were any constructive and honest counterarguments with regard to the hospital loss, you would hear her opinion in reply to our comments. However, there is nothing positive or good about it. She should not be speaking against the referendum. She should be removed from her position of leadership. There has been far too much damage and this is absolutely unacceptable.
T Peppard: "devastating cuts" to the District's Music Department entailed the reduction of one full-time teacher position to a half-time position. That position has been restored to full time again beginning with this coming school year. See story below for more information on how our Music Department will be strengthened, not diminished.

Thank you for sharing this information, Christine. When I last attended a BOE meeting, then President, Ms. Emma Petrie Barcelona, read a letter justifying her decision to eliminate one of the full-time teaching positions in the music department. Ms. Linda Beebe also gave a supportive speech for this devastating cut to the music program. They blamed low music enrollment and required fiscal responsibility. When I later read the details of the minutes from the meeting, they had approved raises for administration. I questioned their priorities.
One other concern is the acoustics of the new music department. There were features in the original building, built during a time of quality and excellence in architecture (not bottom-line profit), where the acoustics were exceptional. It is my understanding that the music department of the new school will not be built to the same standards, due to financial limitations.
