City Hall might not need a "hit man"....but they certainly would have needed a person that controls a Lakewood media outlet.
The news source in question offered biased pro-Summers, anti-Hospital coverage throughout the election campaign.

Hiring the moderator of a media outlet in order to get positive election coverage is completely consistent with this City Hall's M.O.
Over the past year they created the infamous "fake newspaper", designed to fool voters by not revealing it source.
They also recently created the fake "Lakewood Community" Facebook page, which does not disclose its bias. Jen Pae started the page because people on the "Lakewood, Ohio" FB page started asking too many questions.

When I was a kid, government-controlled media outlets were the hallmark of authoritarian regimes.
Here in Lakewood, they are just "business as usual".

Can you imagine the lock they'd have on the media if they could shut out the Observer? They have what Mike said above, the Citizen, the Patch, and the fake Lakewood Neighborhood News, while the PeeDee and Geiselman have been muzzled for years by the Cleveland Clinic.

Without the Observer, we could be fed a steady diet of pro-Summers, pro-CCF, pro-hospital deal drivel. How convenient right before the election!

Everyone should be afraid of this tactic. Speak up and speak out. Tell your friends and neighbors what is going down.

I highly doubt that, not in your skill set. Too much substance in such a task.

The exhibits of the lawsuit appear to place Mr. Rossen squarely in the middle of the events and squarely on Team Summers. Mr. Rossen appears to have a team, despite his protestations. The better subject of this thread might be "Rossen Outs Self in SLAPP Lawsuit Against Observer"
I am pretty good at online Euchre, though.

Please explain how I fall into this. Use substance. Also, please be sure to cite my ties to Team Summers and/or any involvement with Team Summers, Build Lakewood or other conspiracy theories. Please be sure to use actual refernces other than your own speculations or those of your comrades.

Actually, Jim brags about the equal representation he allows in the Lakewood Observer. He claims to show no bias in the paper, so if it overrun by anti-O'Bryan topics it is his own doing. He claims to be fair in it, so his own words dispel your claims.

Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, is it Corey?

Jim has a lot of supporters and we are behind him 100%. I think we should all go down to the court house the days his case is in session with big signs. We could mention on these signs everything we feel is illegal or immoral that Lord and Company are involved in that are having grave effects on our city. There are things that Lord and Company are involved in that have not been made public yet.

You do realize that something else would come along and fill in any gap the Observer may have left. There are enough pro-O'Bryan Safety Zone Dome people to come up with something. It might even be entertaining!

Jim, you have my full support. Lord and Company think they are in control. I believe they should enjoy it now, while they can!

What would this accomplish?

What does that have anything to do with the allegations being brought against Jim? I'm glad his supporters are able to look past his allegations. It looks to me like the allegations of harassment are strikingly similar to the ones that he accuses Rick Uldrick of. Funny how that works, maybe imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

You do realize that these allegations do not actually tie to the hospital, Summers, City Hall, leaves on a tree lawn, garbage out all week, or anything else - they tie to the actions of an individual, Jim.

Full disclosure - I used to think highly of Ray Rice, Baltimore Ravens, until he turned out to be a wife beater. Now, not so much.

Corey is doing his best to "control the message" on the Deck.

By spewing numerous new threads he wants to distract from the factual information presented by Mr. Essi.
Essi's findings certainly hit a nerve with Corey.....a dozen new threads within a couple days.

Funny. Let's try this another way, something that goes against the masses here. I know that I am shouting in a room full of deaf ears, but...

Brian is doing his best to "control the message" on the Deck.

By spewing numerous new threads he wants to distract from the factual information presented by Mr. Rossen.
Corey's findings certainly hit a nerve with Brian.....a dozen new threads within a couple days.

The thing about it is that you can replace the word "Brian" above with most anyone still on the Deck:
Michael
cmager
Bridget
Amy
Dan
The list goes on and on.

The message is definitely being controlled, but certainly not by me. Remember, I am being watched, monitored, censored and who knows what else by the makers of the Observer Project. Don't forget that truth. Here's the link.
http://lakewoodobserver.com/forum/viewt ... =7&t=23057

I feel like the last kid on the team that the coaches want to cut so they make him run lap after lap until he finally quits.

Once I'm gone (and maybe one other) you will have full run of the media show in Lakewood - and nobody likes a monopoly, except the monopoly.

You've yet to address the actual issue raised by Brian's findings.

Of all the posts here over the months, why did that one send you over the edge?

It didn't send me over the edge. I thought Bridget was playing a game with Brian with their posts and constant thread bumps. I was just taking part in their fun.

Why should they be allowed all the fun and no one else?

Ha! If only I had a team. Apparently I am playing one vs The Deck.
