Meet this vacant property at 1557 Rockway. This property has been sitting vacant for several months with a large dumpster in the driveway. However, nobody really seems to be working on it or doing anything with it. They are obviously not cutting the grass:
There is a paper on the front door that says it is maintained by a Mortgage Contracting Services or MCS. I did city hall's work and contacted them, and they told me that they don't maintain the property. The tax mailing address for the property is a suite in the 1100 Superior Building. According to public records, the listed suite is for an affiliate of Woods Cove LLC, which is the loan shark that Cuyahoga County sends tax liens to. This loan shark operates under several names. Lakeside Reo Ventures, Woods Cove LLC, and others.
Summary: This property appears to be owned by the tax lien loan sharks, commonly refereed to as thieves.
People pay taxes and have to look at this.
