I'm a stickler for details. Is Rozi's Wine House the same establishment that Mr. Wetula claimed last summer, wouldn't serve him when he walked in with a" Save Lakewood Hospital" t-shirt? I remember coming away with the impression that they were exercising some sort of reverse boycott.

The other glaring entry in this pantheon of heroes for a one-off rag, or if you prefer, a vital Community Newspaper, is Agostino's Catering & Event Center.
Just out of curiosity , who are these guys?

A Brooklyn caterer now called Copper Stone Catering.

I am guessing that they supported Claussen in Brooklyn, you know, the former assistant Lakewood Law Director hired by Fitzgerald and friends with Butler who was arrested for drugs just before the election.

Fitzgerald also sent out a Brooklyn version of that rag to drum up support for Claussen's mayoral campaign. What a guy Fitzgerald is, huh?

Of course, now Butler is the part-time law director of Brooklyn so maybe it wasn't all in vain.

But the questions still stand.

Mr. Rossen, I know you protest about teams, but it's nice to know that you've found one, or actually been on the team all along.

This doesn't prove anything, other than perhaps you have been served some of the laced Ripple Essi was looking for previously.

All you people have proved to me through this is that your research is lacking, you act and speak out of hate, haste, and hysteria and you are clouded by whatever words you are told to say during your group think get-togethers.

Though I have had a fun run watching you continue to humiliate yourselves with your false statements, inaccurate accusations and hatred, I will end your continued embarrassment.

Simply put - I have not worked there or been affiliated in 4 years. So to answer many of your questions - I do not know what it is like to park downtown during business hours because I have not worked downtown for 4 years. I did not kick anyone out of any store because I have not worked in a store for 4 years. I do not know who carries laced Ripple for Essi (but it does make me curious why he would want a beverage that has been linked to such hideous crimes involving laced drinks).

I gave you plenty of mentions that I did not work there or had any idea what went on there, but through your hate and hysteria you couldn't see past your own rage. I kept telling you to do your research but you chose not to, just to listen to the others and their mosh pit of (inaccurate and false) words.

Sorry to ruin your fun run at killing a Lakewood business, but knowing you, you will just find another Lakewood business to target and take it out on them. Hopefully, you will do better research on the lucky target first.

Let me know if the group would like to admit fault or apologize. I will not hold my breath.

Slow clap, walking away with a smile while dropping the mic.

Good day for fishing! That being said, does anyone remember the news story about the money that was missing when Fitzgerald left county office? If the news is correct, could this money be what Butler and Fitzgerald used for this bogus paper? Does make you wonder!

Mr. Rossen, I applaud in wonderment over the sheer disconnect of your response to my questions.
My thread is posted above yours. You can look under, over, sideways, down you're not mentioned. Not once.

Ah, The Corey Rossen Show, starring Corey Rossen.
Guest stars include: the obligatory conspiracy theory, accusations of rage and mudslinging ( by the way how's your sidekick and fellow Build Lakewood supporter kate e. parker doing?) And don't miss that cameo by "aggrieved seeker of truth."

Bravo, Mr. Rossen . Standing O, here.

More importantly, as I mentioned above, is there the possibility that stolen county funds could possibly have been used to start up this bogus paper?

Lori

Fitzgerald had tons of money left from his failed gubernatorial campaign. Apparently, candidates keep that money and can spend it on other political campaigns.

It doesn't sound ethical to me, but it is apparently legal. Fitz talked about his newfound "gifting" ability here:

http://www.cleveland.com/open/index.ssf ... chall.html

"It's a political campaign fund, and my intention is to use it for campaign purposes, which will be for political candidates or causes I believe in," FitzGerald said.
The "causes I believe in" part makes me laugh! What DOES the guy believe in other than his own inflated view of himself?

Bridget, I agree with you. However, nothing was ever disclosed to the public about the alleged money that was missing when Fitzgerald left office. My guess, since Armond appears to be a part of Summer's extended family, I believe that Armond took care of it like a cat takes care of their stool after it lays it in their cat box!
