It was, but this story hasn't changed? You seem confused sometimes by nuance.
Those were not RTA signs, they were City of Lakewood signs, put their by Lakewood City workers under Lakewood City Hall orders.
Additional information was added as to why. It doesn't change the message, or the header.
While it was pointed out many times that Lakewood can control its destiny with RTA.

Still seems like a stretch header no matter how you try to justify it. So when the City blocks off (fill in the blank example here) Avenue, they hate the people who live on that street, even if work is being done on it?
Some people can justify just about anything with just about anything.

Some persons that post here on the Deck seem like they are never happy with what they read and are always going after the messenger. Why then do they just keep coming back for more! Good day for fishing!

rta cut all circulator services. Lakewood could not have saved it. look it up.
you don't ride the bus, do you jim? let me answer that for you. no, you do not ride the bus. if you did, you would be grateful that the 26 is available the way that it is. you would also wish for more shelters in lakewood. but since you do not ride the bus shelters mean nothing to you. I get it. first world problems and all.

Jim,
Do you know if there are any ADA parking requirements that the city must follow? Since we have a large population of older folks, a lot of them must need and use a state issued handicapped placard. Just curious.
