That's what I'm talking about! Try this...
"Forget the myths that the Mayor created about Lakewood Hospital. The truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand."

Faint echo to my attempt to discern if Defendant Summers was lucky or sophisticated in business.
Now that, is not the first time for this quote of this post. Go way way way way way back, and see it posted in January last year I do believe.

Need? Want? Hmmmmmmmmmm???

Life is not a 24 hour news cycle, and Watergate took longer than 90 minutes to solve.

In college my Journalism professor, Imogene Bolls, was infatuated with Watergate and all things surrounding it. I spent a few semesters with her painfully pounding the information into my head. She bled me dry of any sense of interest in the topic. I hated Watergate, she hated that I hated Watergate, and therefore couldn't stand me - we were a great match. It just so happened that I was the Editor of the school newspaper and our class structure was set so that we received course credit for column inches in the paper. Homework and tests were out the window, I just gave myself more column inches in each issue! I never received less than an A in the class. Sometimes working smart, not hard actually pays off.

Corey-- sounds like she was "blornerd" by her preoccupation with Watergate. Good that you learned to game the system. I, myself, am going to take an "off" year.

After James McCord was convicted in January, 1973, he wrote the judge about "intimidation and politic pressure on many to remain silent"

John Dean broke his silence in April of 1973.

Dean testified about an "enemies list."

Nixon resigned in August, 1974.

Did the 1972 landslide victory mean that the voters approved of Nixon's conduct?
If this does not have any impact on Lakewood  I will move it to Global.

Maybe if you had mentioned, we never really go to understand Watergate because it was cover-uped with the pardon, and certainly we need to understand what the hell went on here in Lakewood in the earliest steps of driving the city into the ditch.

Or if you had meant the hundreds of shannigans with fake names and one time papers, and lying about facts, and how Nixon did similar things called "rat fucking," honest law abiding people, and how it was actual those thugs that brought the president down, and how that applies to Lakewood.

But as it stands now, it seems more a global post to me.

.
No mention or reference to Lakewood in the original post. The follow up justification could have been, or should have been, included in the original post - this would have made the post local. Instead it sounds like a JOB-type post with no refernce points to how it alludes to Lakewood.

Good post, though - wish it would have included the Lakewood relationship in the original.

Jim DeVito - what is your opinion on this?

Corey, you have a good imagination.

What we need is someone who will accept that brown bag at the corner of Belle and Detroit, has kind of a hatchet face and high ambitions. ( Just Kidding )

"Just kidding" at the end of a post is like saying, "not to offend you but your post was lame." Neither one is genuine or constructive.

Thanks and I'm sorry that you have not won an award.

Can't wait to see what I win in 2016!

(This post means that I have the current last word in our exchange. That must sting a bit. Reminds me of good times with JOB!)

Showing the professional form that got you the award in the past.

Corey throws down the second most high scoring card on the Deck, "Oh I suppose you need last word."

Certainly more valuable than the much over used "That's negative" which is negated because it is the most over used negative comment there is.

Of course the most valuable card on the Deck is claiming to be "the victim" card.

Carry on.

Corey haha

A winner of what? I want to cash in. Pay up.

Read your own website. I didn't start the smart ass comments and insults on this. Get off your self-entitled thrown and end your lopsided sight, JOB.

As the great John Rambo once said, "they drew first blood." (I know how you all love quotes so much.)

ps Lighten up, JOB. Comment to Jimmy Fitz that he is "mean spirited" or some other words you cast upon others. Save your positive comments for me.

Corey

I was playing along with you.

See this is the problem, people start joking around, and someone loses an eye.

Sorry, when you brought me in with "last word" I thought you were being funny.
