The hobby store on Detroit across from Johnny Malloy’s is worth paying a visit. They have so many cool things for kids: models, trains, electric race car sets and all kinds of stuff you won’t find at the big box stores. My soon to be 5 year old boy loves that place! Last week we bought a little robot dog kit that we built together sat afternoon. We had a blast and we both learned a few things about how motors and gears work to move things.

You know that is a good idea that I hadn't even thought about! Thanks Charlie!

That's Wing's Hobby Shop.

When I was little, my grandparents used to take us to Miller's restaraunt on Sunday's after church which was right across the street before it burned. Best sticky buns on the planet! After lunch we would go over to Wing's and shop. All the boys in my family were (and are) train enthusiasts and we LOVED this place.

Good memories for sure!

That would make a really good story. We may need your quotes!
