Jumping in on this a little late, but...

I have fond memories of riding the salt & shaker ride during Lakewood Days. It was great fun and, as I recall, a lot of the community and school groups ran food concessions for fundraising. The whole thing was AWESOME!

When the Lakewood Alumni Foundation organized Raise The Roof in 2004 to celebrate the Lakewood City Schools' building projects, Lakewood Days were our inspiration!
