final comment since there is no sense in discussing this further

there are many greater enviromental sins that we all contribute to daily

if you all are afraid of a newspaper on the porch then I'm glad I'm raising my son so he won't be afraid of being robbed at every corner

imagine
what happens to a dream deferred .......

maybe it just sags like a heavy load
or does it explode ?

Correct. However, in my opinion, it should be a priority for each us to reduce our environmental impact wherever possible. I hope you're also teaching your son that valuable lesson.
