I want to see him holding hearings about the foreclosure issue, I want to see him bringing whatever influence he has to bear on the problems in our local economy. Cleveland should not be one of the poorest cities in the nation. We need our politicians addressing that issue, so that our economy can be strengthened and this region can continue to attract new people and jobs. He needs to be out there leading this charge, not just claim it. The presidential campaign is over, so it's time for him to focus on the 10th district, first and foremost.
All good points but I dont believe this particular district has any better claim to being successful than Pittsburgh, Detroit, Buffalo, Toledo, or Erie. I think Mr Kucinich would be well-served in forming or joining a Rust Belt coalition witih representatives from areas in the same boat.
The answer will be long range strategies, not quick headline fixes. Im not sure Mr Kucinich has the makeup for that but he needs to try.
Meanwhile you are also right about the foreclosure hearings. But he needs to be on a committee that would have some standing to do this. Is he?
The voters with this district have been patient with Mr Ks forays into national politics, he now needs to return the favor and reward our investment in him with real action and not just photo-ops.
