Unlike many here in Lakewood, I am hoping that we get no money to build bridges to nowhere.
We have a war to pay for.
Well for the next 50 years at least.

Jim, we still have bases in Europe and Japan...

We should take this to global...
I am not talking about bases.
I am talking about the bill for turning big rocks into littler rocks in Afghanistan, the cost of building the pipeline for private businesses. I am aware that we will never get the USA's share of the poppy harvest. so figure we have to pay that bill.
Then we have the bill for breaking Iraq. Even if the Europeans come in, the USA will be paying that bill for at least 50 years.
Don't get me wrong, I am sure I will realize it is a much better investment than schools or health care. I am just not sure why so many wanted to pass this debt onto their children, and their children and their children.
