Not sure, I will find out more this week. The one rumor I heard from those that know is that Cindy Einhouse and crew have scaled it back in costs to be reasonable. If you look closely you can see that buildings appear to be updated, not leveled.

This looks interesting. Any idea when we can see topo looks at this layout? I would love to see how the rest of the property is used. I like the idea of mixed development, mixing the old buildings with some new. Took a bit from the school development handbook maybe?
As for NY pizza, I love it when I visit and it is truly hard to find out here. I thought the GIANT size NY Style Pizza (on 150th and Triskett) is close but only the 28" or 36" (pizza that literally won't fit in many cars). These larger pies seem to retain their pliable nature of the NY pizza but I tried the smaller (read: normal) sized ones and it didn't hold up. Go big or go home (and for fun, have them slice these monsters pie-style instead of square cut...try eating a slice as long as your arm!).
But for pizza, why bring up anything but Angelos? (though I do love Danny Boys, too).
I agree about Angelo's ... who cares about New York Style or Chicago Style when you can have it Lakewood Style!!!
I'm looking forward to future drawings and elevations of the Beck Center ... do they have a targeted amount for a capital campaign? Will they be able to access any state or federal capital funds for this? Any thoughts yet?
