Sean, I agree that paying some coins to a meter is standard but if people don't know and the signs are conflicting, a $25 ticket could surely hurt a business from people coming back. Is it only that section that has one hour on Saturday and how do they know how long you have been there? Actually consistency in meters and one hour parking only could be a great thing for businesses, opening up the meters to customers but there needs to be consistency. The business owner who called me said the meter did not state that for Saturdays. Just asking based what was told to me, have not checked the meters myself. Overall if meters were consistent and checked, the city could profit I would think, and so would businesses who get ripped off when some piece of junk parks for three days in front of their store.
