Is there a pdf version? I don't care about the environment, but I don't like shuffling through paper. just asking I didn't think macs could do pdf's, but it used to come out in pdf

Isn't apple the founder of the pdf? Adobe acrobat reader is from Adobe, who is Apple's big software provider.

This is the first issue where I actually took the time to read more than one story. Gotta say, it's the most interesting so far!

According to Wikipedia:

"Portable Document Format (PDF), sometimes mistaken for "Printable Document Format", is an open file format created by Adobe Systems in 1993 and is now being prepared for submission as an ISO standard[1]. It is used for representing two-dimensional documents in a device independent and resolution independent fixed-layout document format. Each PDF file encapsulates a complete description of a 2D document (and, with the advent of Acrobat 3D, embedded 3D documents) that includes the text, fonts, images, and 2D vector graphics that compose the document.

While PDF can describe very simple one page documents, it may also be used for many pages, complex documents that use a variety of fonts, graphics, colors, and images."

Macs can do PDFs...they natively support it in OSX. You can actually create a PDF in any program in OSX...just select Print, and click the PDF button at the bottom of the dialog box.

PDF is a product of Adobe, Apple did not create PDF. However, PDF is built into the print architecture of Mac OSX which allows anything with print functionality to create PDF files (unlike Windows).

Just a side fact, Microsoft actually is a larger Mac developer than Adobe.

And for those Windoze people, there's the free CutePDF program that does the same thing that is natively available in Macs.

There was a delay in posting the PDFs but it looks as though it has been taken care of.
