Was that you cruising up Riverside?

Probably! This is the first summer in 3 years I have NOT been on chemotherapy, so I'm trying to keep active by walking. Lakewood is such a great city for this! And the weather has been so lovely this past week.

Mark - Thanks for clarifying, and volunteering your gifts and talents to our community! I think I'll have to maintain my "plain clothes" status for now - I'll keep you posted, though, if I hear or see anything interesting...

Update. We have 1 volunteer, and she's a Doc at a hospital, and is managing to find time for this project. Well her and her husband. 2.

Here's how the timing thing would work for a start . If your going to the store, your "Observing". If your just taking a ride in fresh air, your "Observing"...You and your friend(s) are walking your pet(s)...your Observing. At nights we might take a cruise around, and what is that word? We're OBSERVING. *cha ching*.

It's a start.

As it stands now, it sounds like this is going to be more fun than we thought. Both of us may outfit our car/ truck to communicate with each other.

Catch the drift? We've only talked 2x briefly and already the development flow of ideas has kicked in.

As of this moment we're starting out with 2 couples but it's a start.

Anyone care to join in?

Now, to put an order in for some shirts, as the good Doctor and I would prefer something a little "nicer".

Not asking for a freebie here necessarily , since it would be a little more than just a standard T-shirt.

Jim, do you have time to talk about the shirts sometime ASAP?

Volunteers still needed

Post by Mark Crnolatas »

We still need some volunteers for the project here... If you want to do it..and would prefer to stay "anonymous" as far as the public goes, while wandering around ..thats ok too..if that is the hold up on volunteering.

We just want to get it going. : )

Mark

Anonymous! I think you have us confused with someone else.

Mark this will happen, believe me this will happen.

Here is a chance for residents to put up, help and get some exercise. They will show up. the city is used to hiding. Most people on boards tend to be tied to a workstation, at work, or painfully introverted. It is now time to show them the strength to enjoy life in a city is working together, having fun in a very safe environment. They will come.
