Hmm... I like the crisis alert analogy; however, I can apply that to virtually every single politician sitting in office.

That is the way of our media driven life. Crisis make for good sound bites - good sound bites make for memorable names at the polls. Election strategy 101.

For example - name one or more politician that was elected purely on the war on terror platform and not on any measurable metrics of performance.

Don't know if you are a straight "man" for my reply or really looking for an answer . But just like the "problem" of "Seeing the forest because of all the trees " I would suggest you look no further than our District 10 elected Congressional "Representative " ie One Note Denny for the answer to your question - 9/11 , Iraq etc .

re Measurable performance - does ZERO accomplishments for past 2 or 9 years qualify ?

I always wonder about people who seem obsessed with a certain person or topic.

Really, Dennis, why the fixation on the other Dennis? Your posts, along with Jospeh Milan and "Joe Bialek" on the other forum, look more like sour grapes than anything else.

To para-phase you " I wonder about people who post and post and post yet provide little to nothing of value " .

re sour grapes - IF the analogy is appropriate , you debase those who like or use vinegar or similar products .

re your grouping of people - see above or should I list my candidates for your posting peers? P.S. your above "Jospeh" is normally spelled Joseph

Finally and most importantly the focus should be on "my" (your?) REPRESENTative - Mr DANK - Dennis Achieves Nothing Kucinich !

Question:

Are you posting as a representative of Barbara Ferris' campaign or are you simply stating your own views?

Thank you.

Ferris Rep?

Several Questions

1- Do you represent the posting committee ? (if something like that exists)

2- Why the "or" term only vs "and/or" in your question ? Why not Both or possibly neither !

3- Anything I type represents my views

4- Why exclude the Republicans candidates from your question ? or independents running in Nov ?

5- And What if I am a Ferris for Congress Representative or even a Supporter . So what ?

6- Same Question to you except replace Ferris with djk ie Are You posting as a representative of djk or simply stating your own views ?

I guess we can take that to mean "Yes?"

From the record of campaign contributions:

BTW, Dennis II, you are a resident of Parma and have ONLY posted here in threads bashing Kucinich.

I contend I was right in my original assessment of you as someone obsessed with Kucinich.

Thank you, Grace, for the link. I believe Ferris' campaign hq is also in Parma (5500 Pearl Road). Perhaps it would be appropriate for all posts of this type to have a disclaimer at the bottom. To be fair, I am including one for myself.

Doug

Disclaimer: I do not support Kucinich, Ferris, or any other candidates for that office (of any party).

Grace: What a great web site. I didn't know it existed.

You shouldn't expect people who are critical of Dennis Kucinich to NOT support his opponents. It merely shows they are concerned about their lack of representation in congress.

Dennis was a failure as mayor and is a failure as a representative. He does a great job representing Hollywood. He does a miserable job of representing his district.

Oh My!!!!

I didn't expect THIS response! To answer your questions:

1) I am not part of any committee regarding posting and fail to see the relevance other than to stage another attack (this time on me... I am SOOOO honored!)

2) The "or" was included only because I was hoping to know whether you were representing the campaign (and therefore the views and opinions of Barbara Ann) or only your own views. It can be implied that you would not represent the views of another unless you concur with those views. I admit, however, that you could be posting as a representative of Ms. Ferris while holding completely different views. If I had thought that you would disect my post I would have given it further thought to ensure that there would be no possibility of misunderstanding. I stand corrected and apologize for any confusion you might have endured as a result.

3) See above - clearly the assumption that if you were posting as a representative of the campaign that you were also representing your own views was correct - however, that leaves me befuddled as to why you were confused at my sentence structure in the first place.

4) Because you were not endorsing them in your posts. Why would I have a question for you about something you haven't yet mentioned? Please, if you would like to spell out your involvement in the campaigns of all parties currently seeking office, I have no objection - transparency is good.

5) If you are posting as a representative then I would assume that what your post represents the views of the candidate. If you are simply a supporter or voicing your own thoughts then I do not make that assumption. This was the whole purpose of my asking, btw.

6) I have made no comments about my support or lack of support for any candidate; therefore, I do not understand your question, please clarify.

And BTW - Ask Barbara about me if you like (she'll likely remember better is you get the spelling right). You can be sure I will be calling her to tell her about your behavior & its resultant damage to her campaign & reputation.

Regards.

Status , Representative and Poop

Post by Dennis J Kampe »

re March 8, 2006 posts by C Varkonyi and G O'Malley

Varkonyi : Post so convoluted that to even try to answer in a short , concise , to the point fashion would take several pages . If even attempted my required lengthy reply to her questions within questions including all the if/or/for options etc would never be understood much less fully read by others . So I guess her questions? will have to stand for themselves . ( if anyone can follow her "logic" )

O'Malley : Your Guess re my status is YOUR GUESS . If you want to know something ask or use a response to the right question(s) . The question is NOT "Are you posting as a representative of Barbara Ferris" but rather " Are your posts representative of the BA Ferris position" To the first question . despite your claim of insider knowledge , the answer is No . To the second you need to ask Ferris .

Also there are Significant difference between being a supporter and being a contributor . I can agree with some or that matter one of he Ferris positions , contribute to her campaign and be or NOT be a supporter . In my view , a "representative" of any political candidate or office holder is a much more directed and limited position . If for example you are Pro Life are you a BUSH Representative ? I think Not .

Sorry , would like to add additional comments but have to run to the little boy's room as per K. Parker' comments to avoid an accident and a changing of my "adult pampers" .

Terry

Wonder if you could elaborate, on what issues you feel he has dropped the ball on. I believe he has never been an embarassment to the state, or this district, and served Cleveland better than any mayor.

As a friend of Elizabeth, I also am offended at her being characterized as a "mail order bride." Unless you have facts to the contrary. Have you ever spoken to her? Have you seen them together? Do you know their history?

What has he dropped the ball on, I would be curious.
