Any answers to Bill Call's questions?
I think there are still unanswered questions about the impact of this issue.
When people ask thoughtful questions about an issue, they deserve an answer. By not responding, the only inference that can be made is that Issue 14 is a bit more complicated than we are being led to believe.
I need to understand the issue, the future impact, and the rationale behind any ballot issue before I can vote for it. I have no pre-conceived notions either way on this issue. I'd just like information.
Is that too much to ask?
Specifically, are the two mils set aside for the wastewater plant able to be used for sewer upgrade and repairs?
If so, will this money be needed for the EPA mandated sewer replacement program that Councilman Dever, quoted in the Sun News on 9/29, estimated would cost the city upwards of 100 million dollars?
