Summers, LHA and CCF have manufactured a failure as the foundation of a "future" they want to create for us.

CCF was supposed to properly manage our hospital---not create our "future".

LHA was supposed to manage our hospital--not destroy it and create our "future".

The Mayor was supposed to work for all Lakewood citizens, not CCF, a few cronies and special interests.

They have all failed at the hospital and they want us to buy into their bogus "future".

The future of healthcare they envision is like a third world model--it is giant step backward for Lakewood.

Who do these people think they are?

Are we a City of people who reward bad behavior?

I think not.

These failed leaders must be stopped and held accountable!

I think it is time for someone to bring in the feds. In my opinion, a complete investigation of this mayor and his entire administration needs to take place.

Something isn't right here, folks.

Everyone needs to be on board and not rely on a small handful of people to get the job done.

Brian, I share your outrage. The Summers' administration has devolved into a clique that treats the democratic principles of transparency and inclusiveness with contempt. We are confronted with a divisive administration that must be held accountable. The November election will go a long way towards defining what we as a community expect from our elected officials.

I'd say that's wishful thinking. The LOI expired and has to be renegotiated. Biggest problem is CCF hates bad publicity. They're not too happy this blew up and you can bet they know who let them down. Expect repercussions.

There is already "Master Agreement" that has been negotiated---as of June 4th, the Clinic was clawing back on their "guaranty" of $24 million of our money to the "Summers Wellness & Recreation Foundation." In other words Bridget is right--Toby wants to punish Summers/Madigan for their FAILURE to deliver the needed Council votes.

The sad part is Summers under-estimated Lakewood's resolve and overestimated Toby's perceived power e.g. he has good people like Jim Kenny believing we have a weak hand---he uses that as an excuse for his FAILURE as a negotiator in this deal. As of my April 8, 2015 meeting with Summers, he still didn't understand the valuable rights he/we have.

I think the wishful thinking is that Summers believes he can hold on to the votes he has --I know of some very damaging revelations that will become public between now and September that might swing votes out of that column. And I certainly know only the tip of the iceberg so far.

Of course, Summers will soon publish part of his made to order Huron report followed jaw dropping drawings of the new "Revitalization of Downtown" to WOW the folks. He'll continue to deny "blueprint relations" with anyone.
