This is understood.

As I have said hundreds of times. I have been in business meetings with the Clinic, Metro,
UH, St. Vincent, Parma General, Suma and Kaiser. At the business meetings it is all numbers,
but on a doctor, nurse, orderly - patient , the greatest respect and interest is looked after.

One of the biggest lessons learned in all of this was, they are all corporations, and they
have all pissed people off, and made some friends. Every hospital has "killed my mom,
brother, dad, grandfather," and every one has given birth to, or saves...

Besides with the recent findings, of the map I have yet to see, it would seem this was actually
a scheme designed by FitzGerald/Summers with help from Madigan, and others. This was
just the Clinic taking advantage of "rubes."

It's past time for new leadership on council. I'm glad the Lakewood Democratic Club, many sitting council members, other leaders in the community and neighbors I speak with every day feel the same way.

I continue to be puzzled by that Club vote.

Summers packed the room with his minions....but he forgot to instruct them to vote for his lieutenant?

Mike D,

The answer is obvious. Madigan was supposed to deliver fast a "slam dunk" Council approval of the LOI. She failed and Summers threw her under the bus. Its another example of his poor leadership skills---true leaders take responsibility for failure, they don't blame subordinates. He apparently never read the best seller on leadership: "Good to Great" by Jim Collins.

Dan

Thank you for throwing your hat into the ring. It was refreshing speaking with you the other
day, not just how much you have respected the work Mary Louise did while on council, but
how you differ and how you are looking at bringing, let's say a more energetic edge to city
council. It was great hearing more of what you could offer and zero bitching about others.

Thank you for jumping into the "Mosh Pit Of Word Jazz We Call The Deck."

Dan,

I agree.

But why doesn't the Lakewood Democratic Club agree with respect to the top dog - i.e., Mayor Michael P. Summers?

After all, a majority of 47 LDC members are carrying Team Summers on their collective backs.

It seems odd to attack Mayor Michael P. Summers' loyal minion but not Summers himself.

Matt

Mayor Summers, Madigan, and some others are more disciples of Ed FitzGerald and his
days than disciples of Summers.

It is funny I spoke with a couple members of Lakewood Dems after the vote, only to find
out they had left after the club supported Mike in his first run for mayor, where lifelong
Democrat Ed Favre was left by the roadside in favor of Ed FitzGerald's hand picked successor.

I was laughing at the vote wondering if the many Rs in the room voted, after all many were
the same people that never asked Ed if he had a driver's license.

I think Dan is focusing on the future of Lakewood instead of the "clubby past."

I checked out another of Jim O'Bryan's claims--this guy has the memory of an elephant!

Turns out on December 30, 2014, Ms. Madigan did knock down the hospital was closing and recreation center claims:

http://www.cleveland.com/lakewood/index ... t_clo.html

The problem for Ms. Madigan is that 324 pages of additional Subsidium documents were just recently posted on OneLakewood.com show that just about everyone at LHA knew about the draft LOI and the plan to demolish the hospital prior to her statement to the PD.

Thanks, Jim. Glad to be a part of the conversation. The people of Lakewood have a dwindling number of outlets for free and unfiltered information about what's happening in our community. But we've still got the Observer.

MLM logic: Team Summers and Tom Bullock's Gang allow MLM - the sitting City Council President - to lose the Lakewood Democratic Club endorsement of 47 members and MLM is upset with the residents and folks on the Deck for not agreeing with her faux leadership.

It's rare, but I'm speechless.
