Today would have been Joe's 47th Birthday. I wish I could let him rest in peace in my own mind. A great injustice has been done by the RTA and the indifference of the Lakewood Police Dept in the handling of this incident. I hope the cameras are working when the next person has a freak accident or the next person is important enough to warrant action. Until the issue is addressed it is bound to happen again, I hope it's not your loved one who has to die in vain. I am very surprised that its not a bigger issue that the cameras "malfunctioned" if you are going to be the Wizard of Oz at least take the time to stand behind the curtain and go through the motions.

Does it mention what happens when RTA has ill, or misguided intent?

A question for the ages

A bigger government means a smaller people.

Elected officials at all levels have surrendered their authority to unaccountable bureaucracies. They grind slowly but they grind very fine.

IRS, NSA, CIA, EPA.....The first rule is that the bureaucracy takes care of its own. They take care of their own not because they care about their own but because each individual member of the bureaucracy is a thread in the garment. Once you start pulling at the thread the whole garment is at risk.

One year ago, a good man lost his life. The video cameras on Detroit...not working ?!?! Never did find out what really happened. It getting crowded and this rug. But sweep, sweep away...until it you or yours. Anyone ever find out the truth?
