Most of the restaurants don't make 175k a year? Really? Is that pretty standard? Talk about walking the razor's edge. They should probably be charging more than 5 bucks for a grand slam breakfast. Or there are too many stinking mediocre restaurants racing to the bottom of the feedbag. Diverted from the healthcare question there, sorry...

i believe the Denny's tycoon may have been referring to how much profit each Denny's restaurant yields to him or his holding company.
there are no restaurant chains or franchises mentioned in the Constitution or even The Bible.
The popular trope of the right's campaign was to "restore America".
that slogan asserts that america was different at cherrypicked times and places in history than it is now.
one of the main differences is that there were not massive restaurant chains and franchises.
if we get rid of Denny's and its ilk, we will restore America.
I try to restore America by not eating at Denny's.
