From what I understand Zeppitelli's drivers were feeding the meeters and parking there all day which I guess isnt legal. This is news to me as I thought as long as you were paying the meeter you could stay. Anyways the city apparently tried to broker parking deals with either Fridric Moving (southeast corner of Madison and Baxterly) or Cliffel Optometry (northwest corner of Madison and Robinwood) who were both willing to make agreements (and both within 100 feet of Zappitelli's) but they said they weren't interested. (this is what I have been told, I am merely relaying information)

I realized after posting in this thread that that space doesnt have ADA restrooms. Unless Zappitelli's added it when they came in. That is against code when you have indoor dining.


Valarie, that is exactly why they are not allowed to have seating. I remember talking to Adam, his mother, and others months ago and it was well known that they werent allowed to have it, however it seemed at the time no one was questioning it.
