He didn't pander to one side and then try to make his way back. He stood his ground and did what he believed was the right thing to do without regard for his political future. He made tough decisions and stuck with them. This behavior earned my vote.

I'm sure many voted for him or for someone else because he has a (D) at the end of his name. That is very sad.

This is the single biggest thing Ed did to win me over. Ed and I used to get into some very
special discussions late at night, when it seems politicians prefer to call. Ed always made
sure, and I did, he was not into for re-election, but to do what was needed.

This was very evident during the garbage change.

As for who? other sites 8 years ago, and they do not post here.
