When Bush was in office, he was blamed for everything (even things he had no direct control over).
1. High gas prices - Bush's fault!
2. High grocery prices - Bush's fault!
3. No jobs - Bush's fault!
4. Income inequality - Bush's fault!
This is what we get from the left today when these are still issues: either "crickets" or "It's Still Bush's fault!"
I don't recall any White House statement about National Police Week and honoring the police. How many funerals for the police that have been gunned down and executed over the past year has Obama gone to? I don't think any. This is all the statement we need from the White House regarding police:
This man has put race relations back many years. This was not Martin Luther King's vision. He would probably be rolling in his grave if he knew this is what became of race relations. MLK was a great man.
The left always wants to be heard, but doesn't want anyone else to be heard.
My family was much better off financially and in regards to healthcare under Bush. Additionally, our country was many times safer.
I thought that $900 billion stimulus package in 2009 was supposed to fix everything?
This should be moved to a new thread, as everyone is getting off-topic.

Hi Lori, there was indeed a ceremony at the White House last week for National Police Week. It was covered in both the Plain Dealer and NBC National News with Lester Holt (I'm sure the other national outlets as well).

And we wouldn't expect for FOX news to carry anything positive about any Democrat, especially the president.

Back to the OP ....
"On Friday the President issued guidance on the matter for public schools, unleashing a new round of conservative backlash."
First of all, it appears that the letter came from DOJ not The White House.
Question: Is this "guidance" guidance as in " here are a few suggestions"? Or guidance as in "you must do this, this, this and this?"
I ask this because the letter states - in part: " guidance does not add requirements to applicable law, but provides information and examples to inform recipients about how the Departments evaluate whether covered entities are complying with their legal obligations.
