I have to say I would be unhappy if photos of my child was the object of ridicule and jokes. Now, I will bring this point up again because it is how I live my life. Please ask yourself, how many people who are different from my are my friend? Are your friends all alike or diverse? You must start with yourself and your own prejudices before there can be an honest discussion. Folks there is only one race. Get over it.

I thought I was done on this thread but to answer this specific question, my reason for thinking she needed money had SOLELY to do with the fact that she is over the age of 11 and selling lemonade for 50 cents.

I got my hair cut at an old place on Pearl road yesterday, in what is popularly labelled a "declining" neighborhood. The barbers were two old white guys. They had a television on. One of those Judge shows were on. The plaintiffs and defendents were stupid and bickery and loud.

It seems like everywhere you go with a lobby or public television they are playing some daytime talk show or reality show where the guests are the stupidest goddamn people. Most of us run into enough of those people throughout the day. Why do we then choose to watch them on television?

I suspect it is to watch them being confronted. If they're confronted in real life it usually results in a lot of jibberjabbering or repetive use of four letter words. celebrity judges and talk show hosts exercise authority vicariously for us.
