Someone should put a book together with all the great photography that has appeared on the Deck. Let's face it. Most if not all the shots have been on par with some of the best in the country that already has been published. Money would go to a good cause, charity of some sort that would directly benefit Lakewood people. Just a suggestion. FWIW.

sunset 03.08.09 on a day that rained all day, the sun and
maybe hope comes through.

from Hendrix...

Hey man, take a look out the window 'n' see what's happ'nin'
Hey man, it's rainin'
It's rainin' outside man
Aw, don't worry 'bout that
Everything's gonna be everything
We'll get into somethin' real nice you know
Sit back and groove on a rainy day
Yeah
Yeah I see what you mean brother, lay back and groove.

Rainy day, dream away
Ah let the sun take a holiday
Flowers bathe an' ah see the children play
Lay back and groove on a rainy day.

Well I can see a bunch of wet creatures, look at them on the run
The carnival traffic noise it sings the tune splashing up 'n'
Even the ducks can groove rain bathin' in the park side pool
And I'm leanin' out my window sill diggin' ev'rything
And ah and you too.

Rainy day, rain all day
Ain't no use in gettin' uptight
Just let it groove its own way
Let it drain your worries away yeah
Lay back and groove on a rainy day hey
Lay back and dream on a rainy day.

Ah, yes, rain season. This means a free swimming pool for the kids on my street.

Luckily, with the rain holding off and the sun showing itself, the other side of the street has dried up. Earlier today, the entire street and the tree lawns were flooded.

All is quiet on Lake Baxterly tonight.....

I read where the Cleveland Clinic spent $1.5 million for a reflecting pool.

Wait till spring and the salmon are running.

Another amazing bank of clouds part just long enough for
a nice photo of the Emerald Canyon.

There are many more dead trees this year than in the past.

Let's ponder that as we now no longer have the stomach for talking
about real things.

Gary

You have always been good, but I am writing a piece that goes into how so many that should be begging to speak with the public, have gone silent, back room, into various forms that allow them to PREACH but answer no questions.

It is time to make people accountable, for public funds, funding and their actions. You have tried, yet they still hide the truth of funding and expenditures, they still do back room deals with their public money and seats of power.

I look forward to July 2, so that I can start writing and being Jimmy again.

But this thread is about clouds, not secret agendas.

Like these perfect little fluffy ones.

Perfect little fluffy ones?

Was that in reference to those clouds?

Or those politicians?
