Did a shoot at the Library (in the auditorium rather than front porch due to weather concerns) of a wonderful jazz quintet: "The First Five" . Lighting was sketchy at best so photos are that great. But their female vocalist was! http://www.kiallen.net

There's nothing better than kids and pets to put on the front cover! And these dogs timed it perfectly getting a cool wash and dry on a hot day to raise money for the Lakewood Humane Society

7/20/15 (post City Council meeting)

What do you do when you see good people going astray? What do you do when the impoverished don't have a voice. What do you do when money and influence writes the script for the future of a community?

I keep getting lucky. I caught a great cornerback stop just as his hand deflects the ball at LHS football practice.

I caught some B&W light at the Lakewood HS football practice this morning. Here's a B&W triptych of some of the coaches.

I'm not happy.

Thanks to my daughter, we finally have our library fully shelved and categorized with my Shakespeare First Folio taking prominence but my specially bound OED with specially crafted reading glass is nowhere to be found.

This is not good.

I caught the "look of love" at a front porch concert put on by Lakewood Alive and arranged by Chris Vance of Chris Vance Music Studio on Madison Ave. This is Danielle and Derrick who gave me permission to take their pictures as they were obviously moved by the music put on by young students taught by Chris. (a photo album will be put up in the photo gallery section soon)

I was fortunate to "catch the light" that only Shakespeare can create at the performance of "The Merchant of Venice" at Lakewood Park put on by the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival. Here are 3 of my favorite photos:
