Apparently Morton and Cargill have failed to bid against one another in the vast
majority of ODOT brokered requests for bids in 88 Ohio counties leading to a lawsuit
which will be heard next spring.

Did we learn anything from last winter ?

Always better to have it right, than hurried.

Personally, Lakewood's fascination with seeing the color black in winter borders
on an obsession. When you look at the money we spend to fix roads so that we
can destroy them is pretty amazing. Could Lakewood, survive on roads with an
inch of snow, so plows wouldn't tear up roads. Only using salt when needed?

I wonder how full the dome on Berea Road is ?

Thanks for the update. Since so much of our salt comes from South America rather than under the lake,

any early freezing that disrupts barge traffic coming from Gulf ports could screw us again. Early delivery

means everything. Any idea how large the new dome will be ?
