Adult Kickball games held at Lakewood's "Field of Dreams" Fox Field, in beautiful "DowntowN"
Lakewood, Ohio. Every Thursday night one can have a couple beers or wines at Quaker
Steak and Lube or Humble Wine Bar, then wander down to Kauffman Park, "Where nothing
good happens after dark" and catch a lively often contentious kickball games between adults.
Fan Appreciation Night 2014!
Walking in on the fabulous new, Friends of Kauffman Park's "Urban Wilderness Trail" one can
tell that already emotions are running high down on the field. The stars of Adult Rec Kickball
are eager to deliver the best game ever to the fans.

And the crowd went crazy...
Next up Mike Caserio has an unorthodox kick that takes him halfway to
third before taking a right at the pictures mound going to first. It seems to be
pretty effective for him but the fans have labeled him "crazy legs."

One of the great handouts to the first 10 or so fans that came were
Leslie Favre Krogman masks. It hurt to be the 11th person through the gate.
Asst. Superintendent Roxann Ramsey Caserio takes a lead at second...
... and moments later scored!
A big bruhaha at first base, as Brian Favre ran over the woman playing first base,
and the umpire called a "WTF" you didn't have run over her, and called him out.
Here is Leslie 3 minutes later talking to the woman, making sure she is all right...
This would be Leslie 5 minutes later still making sure the woman was not faint, wozzy, etc.
But this was what the night was all about. Fan Appreciation and what other sporting event
in this area sees the players climbing into the stands to deliver cookies and hot chocolate.
NONE! Not the Cavs, not the Browns, only here and possibly at her house would you get
Gladys Favre serving you hot chocolate and cookies!
It was truly a magical night for all.
