recycling from the Gold Coast. So it pulled over on Lake Road while the fire department
went to work trying to put out the fire that was in the trash area.
So the only way to handle it was to pull the trash off, douse it in water, pull out some more
douse it in water and so on until the truck was emptied. This is what closed down Lake Road
until shortly past 7pm.
A nasty job, but Lakewood Fire and Police handled it well. Here are some images.
