Metroparks Take over Whiskey Island

Today it was announced that the Metroparks are taking over Whiskey Island.
This continues last year's Edgewater Park expansion from the state.

Edgewater Park already looks better.....I think these moves are great for Lakewood.

Not only does Lakewood have its own excellent parks, but it will now be bracketed on both sides by easily accessible Metroparks.
