Just how cool and hip should Lakewood get? Have we done any market saturation studies on this whole cool-and-hip thing? I have to believe there is a spare $7K floating around City Hall for such a study.

Since I am L 7 I'm the wrong person to ask about cool.

I must add that I would have told City Council that there is no market for a Non taxpayer subsidized hotel in Lakewood for a lot less than the $10,000 they paid.

Spin is great.

Lakewood used to have more than one bike shop, and they catered to different parts of the market.

Seems like we have more people on bikes than we used to.

Props to the landlord, and best wishes to the entrepreneurs.

We need a bike store that caters to the BIKE UGLY crowd. My 1978 Schwinn Varsity doesn't need a $350 alloy rim.

Best wishes to the new owner. Hope she/he can make it work...
