Light Up Lakewood ... what fun
Hope to see other pics from the event. I know Jim O'B. and Craig L. were there.
Here are a just a few of mine from the parade. (and about a dozen more here: http://lakewoodobserver.com/photoblogs/peter-grossetti/2013-light-up-lakewood-parade
LakewoodAlive Executive Director Ian Andrews seems to love to tell people where to go. (at least point them in a general direction.)
Buddy the Elf was there. (I think Buddy was even more popular that Mr. Claus)
The FirstFederal Lakewood-sponsored pedicabs were busy!!

A very nice and well-attended event....an especially impressive turnout considering the cold temps.
My only complaint:
The parade ended at the Drug Mart driveway across from the Library.
Instead, the parade should have gone a few extra yards and marched through the drive-thru of the world's greatest Taco Bell.
Chalupas for everyone! It's a Christmas miracle!

Micheal - Did the Cavaliers score over 100 points tonight? (do they still have that promotion?)

True Lakewoodites brave 25 degree temps and with the wind the chill had to be in the teens.

North Pole approved way finding was very helpful, and easier to follow then...

Ian Andrews, possibly more important than Santa Claus when this photo was
taken minutes before the start of the parade.

The parade starts!

The Quaker Steak and Lube Chicken. (still has his wings!)

All Lakewood Band

H2O

Buddy the Elf handing out Popcorn Balls from Campbell's.

Silhouette Dance Studio with Miss Donna!

Lakewood Rugby

Daniel Dominic owner of Cleveland Pedicabs and longtime Lakewoodite with
Mary Lou Call from First Federal of Lakewood.

Lakewood Historical Society

Izzy and Buzzy helping their moms in the parade.

Lakewood High School Student Council

Nevan and Matthew Markling

Light Up Lakewood's Christmas Angel sponsored by Carabel Beauty Salon and Store,
Mrs. Bonnie Fencl.

Winterhurst Hockey Association.

Sharon Marrell, from Marrell Music on Madison Ave.

Lakewood Garden Center, where Lakewoodites go for live Christmas Trees and roping.

Dan Bosworth from Lakewood's favorite cake and pie bakery KB Confections.

Santa! Now Ian can relax, well after the fireworks.

At Rozi's Lakewood favorite patio was packed, Jimmy helping customers, Gary telling jokes.

What is this???? Young Jeffery Neuman checking out the beer section at Rozis! Listen kid
I don't think they are going to believe you are 21. Besides grandpa likes Manhattans!

Then the best fireworks that are shot off where no one can see started!

Job well done, Ken Brand, Ian Andrews, Lakewood Alive volunteers, and the city of Lakewood.

Thanks to Lakewood Hardware for bringing "the soft glow of electric sex" to the parade.
