All

Been an incredibly busy summer, taking me repeatedly to the far east side. Now understand why it is called the "far east side." I love this area, and this county, especially in the fall. But I always LOVE seeing the signs that tell me I am home, home in Lakewood.

I doubt there is a better place to live.

Spring passes and one remembers one's innocence.
Summer passes and one remembers one's exuberance.
Autumn passes and one remembers one's reverence.
Winter passes and one remembers one's perseverance.
Yoko Ono

As we get ready to head into fall, take that extra moment at the close of summer to remember not just the good times of this summer, but the great times of all summers. You deserve the break, and the happy thoughts.

Now back to work, after you read this edition of the Lakewood Observer.

Brought to you with love and respect by Margaret Brinich, Betsy Voinovich, Peter Grossetti, Maggie Fraley, Carlos Ramos, our wonderful editors, writers, and photographers, our advisory board, advertisers, and of course Debra O'Bryan, and myself.

Let me assure you, it is our pleasure.
