The National Senior Games are in Cleveland for the next couple weeks, beginning Friday.
The event includes a wide range of sports including softball, bowling, basketball, volleyball, golf, running, etc.
They are using venues throughout the area, but none in Lakewood.
This seems like a missed opportunity to spread the brand.
Did Lakewood attempt to be part of the event?
Were we rejected?
Based on our easy accessibility to downtown Cleveland and our wide range of sports facilities (softball fields, LHS facilities, St. Ed's facilities, three local bowling alleys), it seems we should have been included.
Thoughts?

Simple, Michael ... the Lakewood "brand" is way too "cool" for seniors!
