Onward to the Bond issue-- Special Board meeting

From an email from Tim Penton this morning:

A Special Board of Education Meeting has been scheduled for Monday, July 22, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. in Grant Elementary School’s Gym, 1470 Victoria Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio 44107 for the purpose of passing the second required resolution authorizing the Board of Education to place a combined bond and permanent improvement levy on the ballot for November of 2013 and any other business that may come before the Board of Education.

These guys aren't wasting any time. For our part, we'd better start thinking about what we would like our new schools to look like, and be like (beyond the fact that we know that each will offer comparable things on the inside) because we know we're going to be asked. Superintendent Patterson has established a great tradition of meeting with the community so far.
