Guys Pizza is no more!
Hi all,
For those who liked to duck out and down the street for a dollar slice of pizza at Guy's-- it is gone! In its place is something not yet open called "Lakewood Chicken."
Hmm.
Anyway, I had one friend ask me why I cared if Guys was closed because he felt that their pizza wasn't that good. But it was okay! And it was ready when you walked in! And it was only a dollar a slice!
Does anyone know where you can run in for one slice of pizza that's already made now? Roman Fountain does it (for more money) and it takes as long as a regular pizza so I don't really get the point of that.
Also--- I challenge everyone here to be the first to post about "Lakewood Chicken." What's so Lakewood about it?

Perhaps one of the Lakewood "dollar stores" sells $1 slices of pizza?!?!??

Sorry with all this testing of new software I forgot to post this!

Well for starters it's in Lakewood.

Matt-- me too.
Jim-- thanks for the photo. I didn't know it was open already. Did you venture inside?
It kind of looks like the gyro place that was next to the Detroit Theater.

Betsy,
Grab & Go Pizza--but not on your end of town. I think you can even get a whole pizza for a few bucks. My son walks by it on his way from school and stops in now & then.

That has to be the guy who owned Red Rooster. Either that or this guy bought all his old signage. I recognize it from many trips there (and it's making me hungry)...
