Earlier this week I don't think the people on my street thought there was going to be Halloween. No power and the street cut in half with the eternal sewer replacement and its equipment.
But everyone was back and everyone was out. Maybe not as many house decorations, it's possible that they blew away earlier in the week. Saw a lot of shingles blown off and trees down and people sitting around laughing and sharing stories, while they handed out candy.
Happy Halloween, 2012. Deep breath.
