Oh sorry, I missed that link, I only saw the other one from onelakewood.com. I now see what you are talking about.
That is a lot of information and it is a very complex issue. It is important to note that although the entire Detroit project will cost Lakewood about $6.5 million that that includes a LOT more than just the pulls and traffic signals, it also includes sewer, resurfacing, signs and many other aspects that have been spread out over several years. Although I agree that getting this information maybe shouldn't have been this hard, with the payment of everything being as complex as it is I understand how it was not just a simple one point answer that could be thrown out.

It really shouldn't be this tough.
Your right it shouldn't be this tough, but as I said above it isn't a simple issue either, so the answers is not a quick one. That being said, to be completely honest, based on your previous posts I did not realize the information you were looking for went back as far as the sewer project. I thought you were mainly concerned with the traffic signal project, and I think it is quite possible I am not the only one that could have been confused by that or made that mistake. Therefore that might have been where some of the confusion was coming in and why you weren't getting the information you were seeking, perhaps they did not understand exactly what you were looking for, like me. In addition, you can some times come off a bit strong, and people tend to get caught up in your attitude rather then your question and 2 things happen. First they misinterpret you or your question because they are taken aback or upset by your attitude and second they are to distracted by the attitude to properly focus and answering your question and instead respond to the attitude. I know this has probably happened to me and others on the deck. We all just need to try and do our bests to keep cool head and be as clear as possible (I mean everyone, myself included).

In a vacuum I suppose you are correct, but this is not a vacuum, and it is also not the middle ages. While we spent money, matching money or not on way finding for people from out of town to find out where they are. Other cities have spent money on technology to
help residents and businesses understand where they are now.
I am not saying Way finding is wrong, though I find it a solution desperately in search of a
problem. But isn't there much more important things to be looking at? NONE of us, not me,
not you, not Matt not Betsy, not Shawn, not the Mayor really want to do 24 hours a day. I
believe we would all rather never think of government except during election, but...
peace
